Eight months later, she was adopted by a loud, loving Italian-American family from Staten Island, New York. On November 8th, 2008, Francine surrendered and began her journey in sobriety. Since then, her passion, enthusiasm, and love for helping other alcoholics and drug addicts get sober has grown.

Through her own experiences in 12-Step service, she believes that helping others to all those still sick and suffering has become her calling, professionally, personally, and musically.

Francine earned a BA in English Writing from the City University of New York, College of Staten Island in 2013 … her creative writing continues to evolve! Francine also has a profound love for community theatre, acting, and singing – at least 2-3 times a year, she’s involved with a community theatre production.

Professionally, Francine has worked as an Outreach Coordinator for Bluecrest Recovery Facility (Woodland Park, NJ), was a case manager for several years at St. Joseph Medical Center (Staten Island, NY), where she worked primarily with patients who suffered from co-occurring disorders, and is presently a PCA at Staten Island University North Hospital (Northwell) looking to pursue her degree in Nursing.

Oh, and on August 11th, 2017, she married me.
